"some services are having issues" - Where Can I Get a Record of Real-Time Network Status??

Help!

I am trying to do testing with our engineers in China and the SIMs aren't connecting.
We are located in ZIP code 60510 and the SIM isn't connecting.  The SIM ICCID ends in: *24717

How can I figure out what's gong on with the network, and get updates of when it might be back 'online' and working?
Has anyone else had troubles like this?  Is this kind of outage a regular occurrence?  :(

Hi Kate,

Thanks for the post. On the "Devices" tab, under "Device transactions" for the device you referenced, I see quite a few transactions today (both SMS and Packet). Can you be more specific about the problem your experiencing?

Regards,
Bob

Bob,
If we see an error like this -   Network status: Some services are having issues
What are we supposed to do?
Is there a way in which we can be notified and also is there a place where we can figure out what the issue is and if it is on your side, the ETA for resolutions?
Thanks.

Hi Jai,

Despite the red icon next to Network status there is no network impairment. I'm working with our engineering team to determine the cause of the red icon and will follow-up with additional information soon.

Bob

Hi Jenny,

Thanks for your question. Apologies for the message under Diagnostics that says some services are having issues. The network is actually operating with no problems. The message is erroneous and our engineers are looking into why it’s being displayed.

I see you have two devices in the bill state and both of them have registered on the network (one of them is currently registered). I also see neither of your devices has established a packet data session.

Answers to the following three questions would help us diagnose your issue:

1.       What exactly are you trying to do?

2.       How are you doing it?

3.       What do you see on the screen when you do it?

Regards,

Jesse

Thank you for responding,
I configured GPS tracker, then I inserted sim card. I then went on global tracking portal to register the GPS tracker with all the configuration info. According to the GPS company once everything is configured and registered it should automatically give me location on the global tracking. I do not see anything is active. I provisioned the 2 sim cards and when I send SMS mssg Im expecting to get something back I just saw the transactions and it says delivered thats it. I don't know why my status says bill?

Hi Jenny,

To understand the different “states” your SIMs can be in please refer to this page.

Regarding SMS, please note that for network security purposes there are two ways to send and receive SMS with a Neo SIM:

1)      Use the Send SMS button on the device diagnostics page

2)      Use the AerFrame API. For instructions on how to use AerFrame please refer to this tutorial.
