The AerAdmin API test site (and live site) is not responding.
According to the neo Resources Page, this is the url:
http://test.m2mweb.net:8080/AerAdminAsyncResponse/aeradminasync?wsdl

I also tried:
https://www.m2mweb.net:9443/AerAdmin_WS_5_0/ws?wsdl

with the SoapUI tool as described on your site here:
http://neo.aeris.com/resources/apis/device-states-soap-interface/

NO RESPONSE from your Server.

Also there is zero mention of how to use the apiKey to make requests when using AerAdmin (AerFrame does mention its use).

I tried adding the apiKey to the URL (&apiKey=xxxxx) but it still timed out with no response.

Thank you for posting to the Aeris Support Community.

Can you try the following URL

https://www.m2mweb.net:9443/AerAdmin_WS_5_0/ws?apiKey=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I just tested this with my account and it worked so should work for you (replacing the xxxxx with your api key).
Please let me know how you get on.

Best Regards,
Steve

I checked your account and it looks as though you do not have a VPN setup. The AerAdmin API requires a VPN. I'll send you a VPN form to request a SW VPN which you can use for development purposes. When you are ready to move to a production environment we can work with you to setup a peer to peer VPN.

According to the Admin API docs, you can use either static IP, vpn, or leased line.  Is that the case?  I am getting the same error and need to have access to the admin api to continue developing our application.

Thanks,

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the post. The AerAdmin API requires a VPN so our team sent you a software VPN request form via email. The software VPN is meant for development purposes and expires after six months, after which time you'll need to use a peer-to-peer VPN.

Regards,
Bob
