Device Never Registered

I got a new GSM SIM card and am trying with our custom IoT device. The SIM card is inserted, APN programmed. 

Here are the details

Application type:Mobile
Custom field 4:N/A
Active technology:GSM
Device status:Bill

But when I run the diagnostics, I see Device not registered error. 

What might be the issue ?

Now I see that the Device is registered successfully. I wonder why it did not do so earlier. Did anyone correct any settings on the server side or is it just it needed some time to sync up ?

I still need to send up some data and see if the data transmission is going through. So for now the Device Never Registered issue seems to be fixed. I will post the updates on the data transmission.
