Do I need a separate account for SIMs purchased through Digi-Key?

I bought my first batch of "mini" SIMs directly from Aeris and got them assigned to my account OK.  I needed some "micro" SIMS, and as far as I can tell I have to buy them through Digi-Key.  A batch of them just arrived. and I'm having trouble assigning them. I am getting the message "Unidentified package number".  I also tried going to https://digikey-neo.aeris.com and got the familiar login screen, but it does not recognize my login credentials.  Should I set up a separate account for SIMS purchased from Digi-Key?

Thanks

Hi Rick,

I see contact from our engineers was initiated via external email regarding assigning your 3FF SIMs purchased through Digi-Key.  Please advise if you have established contact and if your needs are being addressed via this external email communication.

We're having exactly the same problem.  Bought a batch of Aeris cards from Digi-key to replace a batch from Aeris that would not register.  The "Digikey" activation procedure did not work.  The login credentials for our Aeris account were not recognized.  We went ahead and created a new account that we didn't need and don't want just to get over this hurdle.  The activation email for the new account never went through, so at this point the replacement batch we bought from Digi-Key is also not useable.

It could have saves us a lot of time if the solution of your problem may have helped ours.  Unfortunately this thread indicates that your problem was successfully resolved without any hint at what resolution was ultimately successful.

Sorry Steve- I didn't think to post detail as to the "resolution".  The reason I put it in quotes is that I think it was a band-aid rather than resolution.  They had to manually associate the ICCID's with my primary Aeris account. I wonder if you and I are the only ones who have bought SIMs through Digi-Key?

Aha! That makes sense, and that's very helpful, thank you.  What I was looking for is if I missed something in the "fine print", for example capitalizing (or not) the first letter of the username or password, or some simple user error.  Since the "fix" of your problem required the manual back-office association of the ICCIDs with your account I would assume that the same would apply to me.  Pity.  On the other hand this is something we need to know before we roll out hundreds of these!

The Digikey option is a great idea but it appears to be broken.  It would not surprise me if not many people tried it.  I found that the 2FF and 3FF size part numbers were swapped for the 5ea "kits" so I was probably the first to buy that part number.

I was already nervous when an Aeris rep on this forum asked me to publicly post an ICCID (different thread).  Sounds like there are some teething problems they have to work out...
