Looking for info (help) on deciding if these are an option for dog collars and a security alarm system. Does anyone have experience with these and can offer help? The security system will notify a central station and also send texts to a few cell phones when the alarm is tripped.

Hi Wayne,

Thank you for your post! Our SIM's can in general support the function you have noted. What is important to note is the collars will need to support the solution you choose i.e. 2G/3G or 3G/LTE. I would conclude that by your summary the dog collar if tripped would send an SMS to and end server/security system which would alarm your internal system. Is this a correct assessment?

You also noted SMS texts being sent to cell phones, can you expand on that?  There are restrictions of device to device communication via SMS, our system support Server <-> device communication.
