Folks or NEO support team,
Please help. Details below.
- Device: GSM A6
- Status: 1) can receive SMS when sent from the NEO site. 2) can connect to web servers like google.com and data.sparkfun.com port 80.
- Personal web server: basic apache web server on an Ubuntu VM in AWS.
- Status: 1) personal web server can be accessed on a browser in the net. I've allowed all ip traffic inbound just to test.
- Failure : GSM A6 cannot connect to the personal web server
AT+CIPSTART="TCP","google.com",80 .... works
CONNECT OK
AT+CIPSTART="TCP","personalwebserver.aws.com",80 .... fails
+CME ERROR:The command not support,check your input,pls
Suspect:
I am wondering if neo.iot.net has a filter mechanism that I needed to register the url/ip of my personal web server with, so the A6 connection can be allowed to terminate to my personal web server.
I've asked for set up documentation via neo website chat but was referred to use this site instead.
I appreciate very much the assist.
Cheers,
Roland
