How accurate is the network status?

During the most recent outage, when I run diagnostics to check the network status of a device it says that the "network is up" when clearly it wasn't. Why is that? Why didn't it say the network is down or having issues? This created confusion on the onset of the issue because I couldn't discern between a network issue or device issue.

Thanks for the question. Our engineering team has identified the cause of "network status" not being reported properly in the portal. The fix for this issue will be rolled into production as soon as the team is able to update the software and fully test it.

Bob, Any idea on the ETA for this patch. We are observing similar issues and have noted this in other threads as well.

Hi Jai,

The current maintenance schedule has this change moving into production in February. We don't have the exact date yet.
