Trying to get PPP up on a custom ARM board running a Yocto flavor of Linux. The same modem, with the same configuration files works fine on a different (but similar) board.

The failed debgug messages are (after removing the account name and password):

Hello Patrick,

Per review from our engineers the disconnect is being rejected due to compression setting.
It has been recommended you try to add “nodeflate” option in the /etc/ppp/peers/options file, can you attempt this and let me know the results of this change?

Thank you,
Norma
