Hi John,

Thanks for your question. One of the core tenets of our network, which is purpose built from the ground up for M2M connectivity, is offering a secure environment for our customers’ devices. Our connectivity service is designed to prohibit communication from public devices, such as smart phones or other handsets. For this reason we don’t offer public IP addresses.

If you’d like to elaborate on your use case perhaps we can suggest another solution, one that achieves your business objective without the need for a public IP.

Best,

Bob

Hi John,

As you suggest, communication between your server and device is done through a VPN. Neo supports VPN connectivity as an add-on, fee-based service. Sign-up for the service is done through your AerPort account. The screen shot below demonstrates how to navigate to the sign-up page, where you'll need to purchase two services:
  1. Infinity Support
  2. Private Link
When you complete that process, you'll be contacted by a member of our Sales Engineering team, who will work closely with you to understand your application and help you get it up and running.

Regards,
Bob
