When I try to program the APN it asks for a pin.  I enter one and it says PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) required.  How do I get that.

Hi Sam,

Our service not not require any PIN.  That setting appears to be a device setting.  Have you checked with the manufacturer of your device to see if there is a way to disable this setting?

Thanks,

Yes, there does seem to be a command which disables the PIN but it also requires a pin.  My understanding is that the after entering an incorrect pin 3 times in row, the sim is locked and requires a PUK from the service provider to reset the pin.  That is where I am at.

Did you try leaving the pin blank?

Hi Sam,

What you are describing is a device level parameter, our SIMs do not disable unless the SIM is suspended or canceled via device management in our portal. I have confirmed we do not require any sort of PIN. Can you try entering 1's for the PIN?  If that doesn't work you may want to reach out to the manufacturer of the device you have the SIM place in.

Thanks,
Norma
