I am using a mobile device sending data not SMS, do I get charged the .10 per transaction?

How do I cap data usage on a SIM card?

Hi Samuel,

Thanks for the question. Data and SMS are different categories of usage and as such are billed separately.

For details about usage included with the monthly access fee please refer to this page.
For details about optional usage fees please refer to this page.

Regards,
Bob

Seen those pages, but it is unclear, if bytes in & out are both billed or just one way?

I also never got 2 free SIMS not that it makes a difference, experiments always cost money. I guess I may be getting the first 5 MB free, but that makes little difference all of $5.00.I guess if I block SMS there is no way to be billed. I also want to switch off hourly reporting if I could.

& figure out how to chose my 2 alerts, not use the default alerts.

Hi Samuel,

Bytes in and out count as usage for billing purposes.

What do you mean when you say you never received 2 free SIMs?

Feel free to edit the pre-defined alerts to meet your needs. Go to the Quicklinks tab, click Set up MyAlerts, and click the pencil icon to edit an alert.

Bob
