Use MTR-EV3-B07(-N16-US) EV-DO 3G Modem with Neo (SIM Purchased)

I bought a Multitech MTR-EV3-B07-N16-US 3G modem from Symmetry along with an Aeris Neo SIM, as marketed to me by Symmetry as the compatible pair of products. Now I'm ready to activate to provision the service, but I have a Neo SIM with a CDMA/EV-DO modem. Can I register the Aeris account using the MEID of the modem instead of the SIM  card? And if I can, is it possible to also register the SIM in addition to the MEID  so I can use the SIM to test the same account in my Android phone (I can write Android apps)?

The results of my research indicate this device (Multitech MTR-EV3-B07-N16-US 3G modem) will not work on our NEO network. You will need to obtain a GSM capable device in order to use our Neo services. Unfortunately the device you were provided is a CDMA device.

We do not currently offer CDMA services through Neo. We do plan to provide this option in the future but I do not have a committed date for this.
If you are interested in Aeris' CDMA services please contact our sales team and they will be happy to assist. You can reach them by phone or through email using the contact details below.
